Hi, I'm Murad.
Claims is where a risk decision is tested. I've spent 15+ years in credit, collections, recoveries and credit insurance, seeing what happens after a risk is accepted and a buyer fails to pay, and what that teaches about how risk should be selected, priced and worded.
Today I lead the Claims function at Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), the UAE's federal export credit company. I work closely with risk and underwriting teams so that what claims reveal (policy wording gaps, buyer behavior, recovery realities) feeds back into better underwriting decisions.
